Z3 Leo or Z3C Aries?

Hi all,
As you may know from reading my other posts, I’m keen to support the continued development of B2G towards being an open boot2web OS. I don’t have the skills to port, so I need to have a device that is already being ported to by others. In the B2G OS compatible devices page


It says that both Z3 and Z3C are reference devices. However, Z3 isn’t supported in the B2G installer, it can’t find it in the foxfooding programme, although it is included in the B2G manifests on github.

To me, since I’ll be buying second-hand, I might as well buy the “better” phone, which is Leo. But if to support B2G the Z3C would be more useful then please tell me.

Or, are both devices a dead end for B2G now? It’s very difficult to know from the current wiki pages, discourse, mailing list etc, so if anyone can help I’d appreciate it.

What you found is remains of tentative to make B2G continue its life. That failed.

Do they work? How stable are these builds?
