Wordpress Multisite content and database should be backed up…

Content should be stored with MaxCDN, and the database will be with HP, but we should still keep regular backups of both, in case somehow they become maliciously/incidentally damaged.

I think we should backup daily to a block storage instance, but some other thoughts would be useful.

Some expert advice from @mrz would be absolutely brilliant too

Maybe it’s just me being paranoid, but I think it’d almost be a better idea to have backups stored off of HP, in case something were to happen to either our account, or HP itself.

Maybe a weekly offsite backup to S3 could work?[

S3 is a viable candidate but we shouldn’t be storing backups in clear text. They should be encrypted. Generally we should have a backup strategy.
