What tools do you use to measure Social Media success metrics?

How do you measure actual data for this metric: “Number of social media impressions”

Is there a tool aside from counting the search results in Twitter or Facebook manually?

I am Premium user of Twitonomy, but I am not happy with the results (seems not to be much accurate).

Yeah, right now there is up to Reps to gather this information.

We talked about implementing something on the portal, but not sure about its priority.
