About this session
We will set up the workshop as an inclusive soft play area (focusing on themes aimed at those aged 12 years and up), with a number of objects and ‘playthings’ already made to talk about various tools and concepts. We will introduce this tactile and tangible approach, share and gather experiences of the participants with collected information being placed into subgroups: Learn, Remember, Teach (the teach element will look at more tangible approaches of teaching). We will work together or in small groups to make physical representations of digital concepts.
Goals of this session
For those who attend to join us in exploring the senses through creating tangible representations of the various (perceived) aspects of the internet and discuss less traditional/ informal ways of learning, teaching and playing with complex concepts.
