Time Of Day Mail Notifications

Hi –

I need Thunderbird to sound an alert whenever an email comes in except during the hours of 8 pm and 6:30 am. I would be willing to do some work surrounding getting this to happen if I could get some guidance. Otherwise, I would love to hear other suggestions.

I have also had this thought: taskkill /f /im thunderbird.exe as a scheduled task and that would be an okay solution but not ideal because my mail isn’t sorting itself all night and ready for me in the morning.

Suggest you rethink the pontential solution. For example look for a utility that will kill/supress your OS sound settings based on time
