About this session
Pretty much everyone agrees that we need more clarity around “what can be done” to make the internet healthier. But we are still at the beginning of a maze, trying to figure out what’s the best path to get there. The Internet Health Report team is looking for your help to identify the most promising and inspiring initiatives we can put in front of people and decision makers worldwide. With our interactive installation we invite everyone to write down the initiative or idea they know about - a product, technology, research, governance, activism or community leadership that could be supported or replicated for positive impact - and stick it onto our “wall maze installation” in the MoZone. The postcards will form a snake that will move through the maze with each person adding another piece of the snake and guiding it through the maze to the exit - “a healthier internet”.
Goals of this session
Engage Mozfest participants in thinking about solutions and concrete projects that make the internet healthier. Gather ideas: We will use the ideas as input for the upcoming Internet Health Report publication, in line with our new editorial direction of focusing on “what can be done and what is being done already” to counter the negative impacts of technology on our societies around the world.
