There are two properties of profile fields and the sections they reside in, namely their content and their display level.

Content
- For non-Staff profile owners, all available profile fields can be edited as desired
- For Staff profile owners, some information is sourced from Mozilla’s HR database. These fields are displayed but cannot be edited. If you want to change this information, please contact Mozilla’s HR deparment .

Display Level
- Each profile field was evaluated in the context of Mozilla’s Data Classification. As a consequence, some fields only allow for a subset of Display levels.
- Example: Some Staff member “business operations” fields are limited to Staff Only visibility. This includes cost center and worker type (employee, contractor) as well as data we need to build the Org Chart (which is restricted to Staff Only).
