Panel not showing at the correct position when attached to a toggleButton, only in FF46

Hi:
I am running FF46 on a ubuntu machine. And I noticed that the addon panel, as well as firefox’s own ‘open menu’ panel showed at the wrong position once I resize/move the browser window. The position seems to be where the toggleButton was at before the resize/move (see attachment).

The most recent nightly build (49.0a1) has the same problem, but 45.0a does not, so I assume this is a new bug. BTW, my colleagues saw the same problem on their linux FF46. Anyone has an idea of what is going on?

I could not reproduce this on Mac or Windows, so likely it is a linux specfic issue for the latest firefox. Any linux user here also see this ?

This sounds like an issue introduced by the switch to GTK3. GTK3 has been in nightly since quite some time but was only enabled for release since 46. I’d suggest filing a bug on bugzilla about it.
