About this session
We want to do this by having a hands on session where visitors can play around with the tools we will bring, so that in a relaxed/interactive atmosphere we can start a conversation about this topic and hopefully make people aware that they should/could be creating tools to follow their curiosity. Participants can also suggest projects and ideas and facilitators will be able to guide them to start their first open hardware project.
Goals of this session
The goal of this session is to introduce Mozfest participants to the world of open science hardware. We want to make them aware of how easy it is to create measurement tools for research and education, and also introduce them to the many communities that are creating hardware for science inside and outside Academia.
