We deployed version 3 yesterday. Some visible changes:

In-browser UI changes

  • Move Save and Cancel buttons below the selection.
  • Add pixel dimensions when starting and dragging
    the selection.
  • Change to cursor: move on the selection box.
  • Add Create Page Shot item in the context menu.
  • Add paste instructions to notification popups.
  • Render the selection interface in an iframe, so that it doesn’t conflict or get affected by any styles in the document itself.

Web UI changes

  • Put in a delete option directly on My Shots tiles.
  • Direct feedback to Discourse.
  • Add a better title to search results.
  • Implement rich copy. Button is shown only when
    extension is present.
  • The metrics page is enabled again
