I appreciate your concern here, but when it does happen (on desktop), it is a bug, and we should represent the data some other way. We are planning to split up the events reference soon, for example, and put the information under the APIs the events appear in instead.

I have been trying to make the events reference pages less ugly, but there’s not a whole lot that can be done without modifying the content.
I have now added horizontal scrollbars to all the overflowing tables.
Fortunately, there is work in progress to devise a plan to completely overhaul the event reference material.
