I am learning data science for the purpose of an under grad research. I was wondering how Mozilla uses/gets benefitted from data science. If there is some related project, then is there a way to get involved?

You might also want to check out the some of the info on the Telemetry and Metrics wiki pages to get more info on some of the ways Mozillians are using data science to improve Firefox and help with other aspects of the Mozilla mission .
