What was discussed and covered?

Intro to Mozilla Clubs :

Firefox Club and Mozilla Clubs are different , Mozilla clubs are basically not restricted to students. It is basically a platform for people like teachers, educationists etc basically anyone willing to teach/learn and has the knowledge to do so can join together.

This is also a Webmaker Initiative but does not restrict itself to pure Webmaker tools. It
focuses on Web Literacy. So any form of making a person web literate can be counted as a part of the program.

Broad idea is the align the teaching resources with the Web literacy map. You can find it here: https://teach.mozilla.org/teach-like-mozilla/web-literacy/

It’s defining the skills and competencies required to call a person “Web literate”

Web maker Android Application:

Test the application and get the resources in the below link:

Download the app @ http://mzl.LA/android

Advocacy task force:

We realized the need to involve Mozilla, an organization actively involved in policy related issues to keep the web open and transparent that’s why Mozilla India has formed Advocacy task force. Webmaker event to keep a small slot for policy and advocacy in their talks/sessions for educating people on policy, advocacy and privacy related matters in #teachtheweb.

Documentation ,Social Media & Technical Task Force:

The documentation team blogs and writes about upcoming events. If
you’re not that great at blogging then you could always pass on the raw
information to the documentation team and they would be happy to help
you out.

SUMO – Kitsune:

Its a platform for Mozilla Support( SUMO ) .Kitsune is the Japanese word for fox.You can contribute to Kitsune development by creating an account on GitHub.

Covered up Moz Stumbler ( https://github.com/mozilla/MozStumbler and app link – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.mozstumbler&hl=en ) and Firefox Friends ( http://friends.mozilla.org ) at last before wind up the meeting
