About this session
Participants will assemble their very own plant monitor, based around an IoT board, the ESP32. They will then setup the board to read sensor data, and display an emoji based on the “happiness” level of the plant. Participants may take home this project.
Goals of this session
To educate people in Arduino, Electronics, and Safety with the Internet of Things. We will have people do some basic soldering, and learn about connected devices and how they work.
