About this session
This session will share the story behind Tom Schofield’s artwork Accession - exhibited in the Arts & Culture Salon 801.
Accession is an artwork that imagines a museum collection, entirely described and arranged by AI. The artwork explores ideas of exclusion and diversity in both AI and museum collection practices.
In this session you are invite to join a discussion around the use of AI in museums and think together about how it might be imagined differently. If you join us please bring a small item (no bigger than about 15 cm square) with you that, to you, should be included in a MozFest museum collection. We will hold an accession session and set the collection to grow through the MozFest weekend.
