About this session
I will give a talk on why it’s not enough to break up big tech, but that we must break them open - what this means and how we might go about it. I’ll then facillitate a discussion of reactions, comments, ideas and plans for how we might take forward a campaign to regulate facebook to open up their APIs and allow interoperability with other services - thus giving users a way out of facebook’s data exploitatitive business model, without becoming disconnected with their social network.
