About this session

Participants will share their challenges and experiences in enabling knowledge sharing and collective impact. We will then look at examples of materials, resources and tools, co-created within networks and communities that have supported learning and capacity building. We will then create a list of best practices for supporting this work.

  • Provide sustainability and structure
  • Support champions, people who are invested
  • Have Routine Comms
  • Make sure your content is local and relevant.
  • Co-create knowledge resources and assets
  • Use clustering to gather relevant people together
  • Know your community
  • Understand Barriers to Participation
  • Make the most out of events to generate trust
  • Have governance so people can understand processes and how to contribute and then what happens to their contributions
  • Make the most out of events, ensure you are provided lots of ways for people to interact with each other
  • Take people out of their comfort zones (in a good way)
