Is there a way to find out why an extension was removed from AMO?

I regularly recommend and use the excellent Night Mode Page Dim Firefox extension.

Recently, it was removed from AMO without any notice.

Is there any way to find out why it was removed? Did it have a security or stability issue that requires that I uninstall it and advise others to do the same? Or was it just that the author removed it for unknown reasons?

It would be great if AMO indicated why an extension was removed.

I’ve found the addon’s page on web archive.
It seems that author was offended by some bug (no bugreports?)
Not sure if it too selfish or something else but I would recommend you my own addon. I’m not going to abandon it.
