Hi, i have tried to get the z-wave aeotec led bulb gen5 (found here: “https://aeotec.com/z-wave-led-lightbulb” working with the mozilla of things gateway, i had to use another gateway to get it to work, but i hate the UI of it, and love the mozilla one, which is what i want to use but cant with this bulb.
Will this be supported in the future or am i dumb and doing something wrong?

I haven’t seen a zwave light bulb yet, so it’s entirely possible that it might not be supported properly. I’m ordering one (Aeotec ZWave bulb and an LED strip) so I should be able to ensure its supported soon.
Hi I see you replied to my other post, so I’ll just continue this one. This zwave bulb works with another gateway (using domoticz) but not with mozilla. Its the Gen 5 one btw i bought it here: https://www.smartliving.com.au/aeotec-z-wave-dimmable-led-rgbw-light-bulb.html
So the gen 5 zwave dongle (https://aeotec.com/z-wave-usb-stick) and the led bulb above, work in the other gateway, and but not mozilla.
I wasn’t aware zwave bulbs were a new thing. This must be why.
I’ve just added support for the Aeotec LED Bulb 6 and the LED Strip. Hopefully, the Gen 5 will work now as well.
The zwave adapter is still pending review, so it isn’t available quite yet, but should be available by tomorrow sometime.
