In the unlikely event of a bad OTA update please make sure you’re sending telemetry data:
Go to your settings -> Then Improve Firefox OS
You’ll be able to change your telemetry settings, and choose “Enhanced”
In case you have already updated your build.
Just goto Developer Menu. At the bottom you will find update channel. If it is written as nightly. Change it back to “dogfood” and after that you probably will see a url of the update channel. Go and find the “5” in it and change it back to “3” 
Now we shall wait for the next dogfood build to be available to see if our little change worked (it should though)

Good to know0 i really thought there is more than just that with the build not to upgrade.
I got the bug on the Sony of getting the nightly channel but the data is still blocked in “Enhanced”.
We’re working on a new stabilized OTA branch and fixing these issues on Aries. You can track the work here: correct dogfood build, Fix Aries dogfood for mozilla central, OTA branch.

I tried to replicate a bug that I filed, since I was asked to do it in an updated version, I forgot about the do not update shenanigan. Hoping that this will do the trick. Thanks!
Flame builds are community maintained ones. They are excellent but cannot be updated on the nightly-test channel due to the following bug:

Dogfood builds for Flame don’t seem to be available, will this be fixed soon?
