Hi, I was thinking about how we gonna address several languages due to the limitation that we have in the moment, English, German and French seems to be covered, but I’m afraid that we won’t be able to give priority to other languages such as Spanish, Arabic. Maybe we should focus on each language by the number of native speakers, check this article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_languages_by_number_of_native_speakers, then we could put our efforts in a way that would be fair and equal. For example, we could put in the main page the language in focus, in the week or month, so people who speak that language would be aware of it.
Currently we don’t have a strong prioritization, it depends on how active a particular community is.
The 2019 planning for Common Voice is happening during January and February and I’m sure we’ll cover this topic and share with community for feedback.
