I have an update for one of my extensions that I would like to release to beta testers only. How do I go about getting it signed without releasing it to the pubic? The extension is already listed on AMO and I don’t want this beta release to overwrite the existing one. Of course, I also don’t want the current AMO listing to disappear either.
If the version number has a b or an a, you will be asked if you want it to be added as a beta version. If you click on that checkbox, the file will be signed and won’t be treated as a regular update. This feature is only enabled for fully reviewed add-ons, however.
