I’ve been reading the privacy notice for “Firefox Advance” and found some though-provoking points:
- “After installation, Laserlike will receive your web browsing history”,
- “Laserlike also receives your IP addresses,”
- “Both Mozilla and Laserlike will receive clickthrough rates and time spent on recommended content;”
First of all, it’s GREAT that this information is put in clear terms and not hidden in any way. Although, it makes me wonder - how does it align with Mozilla’s mission? Also, will it be enabled for certain users without their consent/knowledge?
