Wondering if you use Heka in production?
I’d love to do a research on anomaly detection and real time analysis. Thought I could contribute it back to the community.

We don’t. Can you explain a bit what it does?
It’s a stream processing software.
You can pipe various sources of data into it and build your own plugins to process and generate an output (the same model as Logstash).
When you have a bunch of servers in production you’d like to do some pre-processing before you alert. In some cases, alerting based on threshold generates a lot of noise and it should be changed to anomaly detection system.
Heka has already some anomaly detection filters and would like to give it a go and see how it works. We could tune it later on and build a tailored solution for whatever is required.
