Getting the Digi ZB Mesh USB to work

I purchased the Digi ZB mesh usb stick. I plugged it into my RPi and booted up the RPi. I added the Zigbee adapter. It doesnt see a CREE Connected bulb a couple of feet away from the USB stick. Even though the CREE connected bulb hadnt been used before, I went through a factory reset just to be on the safe side. I looked for any trouble shooting information via the Driver link to GitHub but didnt find anything.

Is there anything that someone can point me to for me to help figure out why I am not able to see the bulb ? When I go into details for the ZB adapater in the IOT Gateway, the only thing I see is scan channels that is currently set to 8190.

I’ve had the best luck by pressing the ‘+’ key on the UI and then quickly doing the factory reset while the dongle is in pairing mode.

Also make sure that you don’t have any other zigbee controllers (like a Hue Hub, or other device) in the vicinity.

What is the part number of the Cree bulb?
