I was facing a problem: I didn’t get access my External SD Card through computer: I tried OSX and Debian.
Searching on Settings App I found the solution:
Media Storage -> Activate USB Storage and you can find Two sections: One for Internal SD Card and another for External SD Card. You can share the content of each one separately.
