Flame FOTA now available

Flames should now be able to receive a Full over the Air update by following these instructions:

There are two caveats:

  1. Make sure your date and time is set correctly on the phone
  2. Make sure you have the current base build for the flame.

  • You should get an update, and should be able to update on those conditions.

  • If you are stuck in the recovery mode, select reboot by navigating using the volume up/down and power to select

  • Also, using LogShake will collect a recovery log that can help us investigate any issue that happens during the FOTA process

For those interested, these are the two bugs related to the FOTA process:
1215733 - When trying to FOTA the flame device, the device gives a “status text: Update XML file malformed (200)”

  • Device should check to make sure that the proper fingerprint for a FOTA is being used before trying to FOTA

@marcia which is the build ID of this version? I had an update yesterday, but nothing appear today

I think https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1219918 is causing an issue with the latest update.
