[Flame] FOTA failed

I had an issue with today’s FOTA update for my flame device. It downloaded
and uncompressed as usual but instead of showing the usual FOTA orange
display while installing, it showed the same it showed for the OTA updates
(a little blue phone icon) and it got stuck there. After 5 minutes it
didn’t change so I rebooted the device. Fortunately it worked!
Would this be a bug I should file, or better wait till the next update?

I use nightly-test

I use the nightly-test one and I receive 2 FOTA updates per day.

Does everything work for you in these nightlies, in particular the Advisory shown in

Yes, the nightly-test channel FOTA updates work fine.

I get an error with nightly-test (i have switched the channel from nightly 20151029), the device go in recovery mode and say failed to verify whole-file signature.
Maybe to change channel is required something?

Have you flashed base image 18D v4 from the MDN site first?

I don’t have the foxfooding release on my flame (on ffos participation hub there is no info about it), i’ve tried to change the channel to nightly-latest but I get errors when I try to get new update.

Then try nightly-test instead of nightly-latest as the last one does not go
through the QA process.

I’ve flashed the base image (after some testing in flashing of the foxfooding rom my mexmod without successful) and the device not recognize new updates.

When in doubt, flash the base image and then shallow flash a nightly B2G+Gaia as described at MDN. Then, once that’s working, go change your channel to nightly-latest and you’ll hopefully start receiving updates. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Phone_guide/Flame/Updating_your_Flame#Updating_your_Flame_to_a_nightly_build

That solution works!
I was using https://github.com/digitarald/flash-b2g because is based on shallow flash and download automatically the files but this time not work.
