I’m working on Boilerplate for creating firefox extensions, it is on GitHub repo private and almost ready, so need someone for look and say it’s Ok or and open PR and issues.

This is super cool! If it’s a bootstrap addon I would like to contribute a e10s safe communciation api which relies on postMessage (and MessageManager where necessary) between these scopes:

  • Worker <-> bootstrap - transferring allowed as its same process
  • bootstrap <-> framescript - no transferring as diff process
  • framescript <-> content - transferring allowed
