Ahh, are you talking about uploads? It’s set so that new users can upload right now. It’s pretty easy to get bumped to a level 1. You just have to enter five different topics, read 5 posts, and spend 10 minutes reading. It was higher, but I just lowered all the numbers. If that’s too much, we can manually bump people as well.
Nope, I was talking about link previews. So it seems they just work for some sites?
Yeah, there’s a whitelist of sites that they work for. Maybe we can add others if they’re needed, I’m not totally sure how Discourse handles that.
Maybe we can try first with *.mozilla.org domains.
Did some testing on the dev instance, it’s easy to add support for sites that support opengraph (mozilla.org) but a lot more difficult for ones that don’t.
