A comparable short-term test https://try.discourse.org/t/embedded-vimeo-previewed-before-posting-invisible-after-posting/819 is bug-free.

Both @Borisbudini and I have the same views of those two examples, so my early guess is that the bug is specific to Mozilla Discourse.

Thanks for reporting this, it’s because our CSP settings don’t allow Vimeo to load it’s player. I’ve filed a bug for tracking here:
