I’m working on different (virtual) machines. With the release of FF 64 I can’t keep Firefox from automatically downloading updates.
Not only is this dangerous because it’s becoming a habit to grant Firefox elevated privileges every other day. It’s also becoming rather bugging. And it also proves that Mozilla is tracking me when I’m browsing, by sending a request to Mozilla everytime I’m starting a Firefox instance.
Please, either re-add an option to NOT download a/o install Firefox updates at all (preferred) - or don’t dispatch updates more often than every second month.
