About this session

We will briefly discover the Tails operating system (https://tails.boum.org/) and what it is useful for.

Then we will learn together how we can make the Tails website available to a more diverse audience by translating it.

Goals of this session

  1. Participants have enough information to decide whether they want to use, or promote, the Tails operating system (https://tails.boum.org/).

  2. Participants know they can translate the Tails website into their own language using a web browser, and how to do so.

  3. A list of usability issues in the Tails web translation platform is sent to the Tails project.
