I installed an IBM extension ‘snapshot capture extension’ that lets me capture a screen for use with IBM’s product Tealeaf. However this is an unsigned extension so it is disabled with the following message: “IBM Tealeaf cxOverstat Snapshot Capture could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled”. According to the documentation changing the configuration setting “xpinstall.signatures.required” to false should let me use the extension but it does not. Does anyone know what else to try?
That was for older Firefox. New versions of Firefox wont allow unsigned addons to be installed.
The option for using an unsigned addon is to use an Unbranded or Developer version of Firefox
