“JPM undefined”, but jpm works

I’ve been using cfx and testing with 37 beta, but I switched to jpm now because it’s the way forward from 38. I made the required changes and the add-on works fine, but jpm’s status messages keep saying undefined:
That’s broken for me, too, and that’s after installing jpm per the directions, not using it with “io.js”.
This is what I get:
