About this session
First I will present the 5 experiences of Community Networks I’ve deployed in Brasil as a Mozilla Fellow between September 2018 and June 2019; sharing the technologies used on the mesh networks and the methodologies to work tech and social issues on communities with a feminist intersectional lens (about 20 minutes); and based on that foster discussions about sustainability, diversity and production of local content in Community Networks using participatory methodologies.
Goals of this session
To share knowledge acquired as 2018-2019 Mozilla fellow and foster discussions on Community Networks; autonomous connectivity; intersectional feminist perspectives for access to internet and media; local production of content and the tensions of connectivity in Brasil.
