Firefox 50.0 blocks Acrobat, says to update. Adobe site says my current version “Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 11.0.8” is the only available version.
Punching Firefox’s Update Now does not help; same conundrum.
Trying to update Windows XP to a “supported by current Adobe software” version is not possible; Microsoft will NOT sell an update/upgrade
Seems like Mozilla hates Adobe, Adobe hates Microsoft, and Microsoft hates their customers.
Any workarounds to allow setting Firefox to an action other than blocking Acrobat? Like maybe allowing the Ask First selection on the addon dashboard instead of turning that selection light grey?
