Can't contribute

I’ve had several people reporting to me that they can’t make a Paypal contribution for my addons. This has come up sporadically before but now there seems to be a definite, possibly new, problem. It doesn’t happen to everyone, but this is a typical description:

The “Make a Contribution” window opens, I fill in an amount, click on
make contribution. Contacting paypal comes up, the popup window closes,
the mozilla page sort of grays out, the tab button churns for maybe 10
seconds and the page stops. Stays gray, has to be reloaded before I can
try again with the same results.

Weirdness I just contributed to myself it worked. Would it be an issue with paypal or amo?

Edit: Oh you metnioned its sporadic ah ok.

Looks like this is once again sort of WONTFIX. The latest reply that I’ve seen was “we need to move away from Paypal” :unamused:
