About this session
Can words express the most amazing spots to go in your hometown? The life changing travel experiences you have had. With VR Tour Creator participants will have the opportunity to create and share their own experience in VR and view others from all over the world. Participants will capture 360 deg. images of their chosen location(s) using web-based plugin, add information to the 360 deg. image such as: text popups and voice-over audio, and immediately publish the tour. VR Headsets will be provided to view their tour and all previously created tours from any other Mozfest attendees or from tours created all over the world. The tour can also be accessed on any mobile device with the Expedition app.
Goals of this session
Goals will be:
-Spread awareness on how to access VR experiences that are shared all over the world and view in mobile VR headsets.
-Collect feedback on what personal experiences participants would like to share virtually.
-Participants will learn to quickly create and share their own VR experience and will publish online for viewing in a supplied VR headset.
