About this session

As the needs and behaviours of society continue to change, as the divide between the digitally literate and the digital poor deepens, as people potentially become more isolated from one another - what public spaces will we need? What would we put in them to ensure everyone is included, empowered and enabled to participate?

We will work in groups to connect, share ideas, have discussions and jointly create a vision for future public spaces - considering the needs of individuals and communities.

We will imagine public spaces that are trusted and inclusive, where we can connect with each other and technology, where we can be inspired to reach our potential, where everyone is confident to explore and navigate the digital world.

We’re calling on change makers, technologists, educators, librarians and skeptics!

Come and be creative - let’s design public spaces fit for the future.

Goals of this session

Using our shared knowledge and insights we will collaboratively design future public spaces, considering current and future needs of individuals and communities.
