I’ve had a few users report that my extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/youtube-mp3-podcaster/ ) was disabled by the latest Firefox build (45.0.2). I figured they’d installed on of the old unsigned *.xpi files off my website until a friend of mine told me that the beta in my “Development Channel” he was running got disabled. He was able to go in and tell firefox to run it anyway, but I know that feature will be disabled soon.
Is this the right behavior? e.g. do I need to do something special to sign my plugin (in particular the Development Channel) or are these users just hitting a bug in FF? Thanks!
