Alternative for addon-page

Hi folks

I need know if exist any alternative to do the same, that we create with the SDK-API addon-page, I mean a internal page for addon, like a configuration page or something like that, i ask, because in module page said:


Obsolete since Gecko 35 (Firefox 35 / Thunderbird 35 / SeaMonkey 2.32)
This
feature is obsolete. Although it may still work in some browsers, its
use is discouraged since it could be removed at any time. Try to avoid
using it.

So i started a develop a addon but i need something like this module, if anyone show me the alternative or can tell me the real state of this module, if this could be removed or updated in the future.

The prefs module might be what you want.

Store preferences across application restarts. You can store booleans, integers, and string values, and users can configure these preferences in the Add-ons Manager. This gives users a consistent way to access and modify preferences across different add-ons.

Yep, I used this API for store, consult, retrieve options for configuration page, but really i need is the alternative for addon-page API, for create internal page for use like a configuration page.

Maybe webextension is the response or alternative?
