I agree, that library is easy to go through - it’s clear what it does, no questions raised. So using it would simplify reviews a lot. I don’t think that the performance difference matters in your case (if it does then maybe you can convince the author to use WebCrypto if it is available).
I just released a new version (0.1.4) using script-async instead of js-scrypt.
Performances seems to be quite good and, as you say @palant, it may be optimized using Web Crypto API.
The plugin is a lot simpler now and, indeed, it should be easier to review…

It is easy to review now, yes. Just please don’t upload sources unnecessary - this will flag the extension for admin review (“normal” reviewers don’t have access to sources), and getting the flag removed takes time unnecessarily. Jorge removed the flag already, now I’m waiting for the cache to expire so that I’ll be able to submit my review.
