I am coming to the Leadership Summit!

Hi my name is Larissa and I live in Santa Cruz, California, USA , here’s a photo!

  1. Looking back at 2015, the thing I am most proud of in my Participation at Mozilla is shifting my work onto inclusion.

  2. Looking forward to 2016, as part of this Participation Leaders Cohort, I am excited about building an inclusion strategy that encompasses all of Mozilla, especially volunteers.

  3. The skills I most hope to build as part of the Leadership Summit would be global vision, understanding the Connected Devices strategy, coaching. Bonus: (English is my native language more’s the pity. I could attempt in my bad German or terrible French or mediocre Spanish…)

Hi my name is Vuyisile and I live in Zimbabwe. This is a photo of a dam close to the city:

  1. I’m most proud of my Participation to L10n and my contribution towards growing community in Africa.

  2. Looking forward to 2016, as part of the Participation Leaders Cohort, I am excited about growing our community and helping contributors to step up to positions of responsibility.

  3. The skills I most hope to build as part of the Leadership Summit would be community building, meeting facilitation and skills relating to seeing projects through to the end.

Hi my name is Ioana Chiorean and I live in Cluj-Napoca, România! This is a photo I took a few days ago in the city center:

1) Looking back at 2015, the thing I am most proud of in my Participation at Mozilla is rebooting the Weekly Reps Call and organizing Mozilla Balkans Meetup.

2) Looking forward to 2016, as part of this Participation Leaders Cohort, I am excited about having a more organized effort on Firefox OS Participation with meaningful results (real impact) in different parts ( porting, QA, crazy ideas implemented) and welcoming new mozillians into the community that understand the true mission of Mozilla.

3) The skills I most hope to build as part of the Leadership Summit would be delegations and empowerment.

Bonus time!

Hi my name is Havi and I live in Palo Alto, California, here’s a photo of dawn last week, on the street where I live!

  1. Looking back at 2015, the thing I am most proud of in my Participation at Mozilla is the work I’ve been doing with Mozilla Tech Speakers and the Participation team.

  2. Looking forward to 2016, as part of this Participation Leaders Cohort, I am excited about working with Mozillians to develop grassroots programs for public speaker training. Also, helping Mozillians serve their communities and their goals by focusing their storytelling skills on the needs of their audience.

  3. The skills I most hope to build as part of the Leadership Summit would be to practice more of what I’ve been preaching… and work on my own fear of public speaking!

Bonus: respond in your own language (this is my language)
